October Workout Total

Beginning of October I decided to make a focus on developing a consistent exercise routine. I have diabetes. And a number of other things. I really need to lose weight. I may have mentioned in a previous post that I really have an issue with motivation. I don’t get motivated by a smaller waist line. I should be motivated by the improvement in my blood sugar totals but I’m not. What has kept me motivated for the past month? I joined a challenge at work. 60 miles in 60 days. Then a couple of weeks ago I found similar challenges on my MapMyWalk app… I have noticed my clothes fitting looser, I haven’t seen a difference in actual weight loss but I know that’s because I’m building muscle and that the weight loss will come. But that’s not what this is about now. It’s about the fun of challenging yourself and meeting it. The weight loss, the smaller waist line, the lowering of the blood sugar, those all the side effects 🙂

So now is where I brag on myself a little bit and show my results for my first month:
